10-Year-Old Girl Critically Hurt in Grünau Traffic Collision Near Tram Stop
A 10-year-old girl was seriously injured in a traffic accident in Grünau yesterday afternoon. The incident happened near a tram stop along Wassersportallee, where the child stepped into the path of an oncoming car. Police have now launched an investigation into the collision.
The crash took place at around 3:50 p.m. on Wassersportallee, close to Regattastraße. A 29-year-old driver was travelling along the road when the girl suddenly appeared from behind a stationary tram. The vehicle struck her, causing head injuries that required immediate hospitalization.
The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to determine the exact cause of the accident. The girl continues to receive treatment in the hospital while police gather further evidence. No additional details have been released at this stage.
