‘100 Years of Palestine’ Exhibit Returns to Roseville Amid Rising Public Interest
A cultural exhibit titled 100 Years of Palestine has returned to Roseville after strong public interest. Hosted by the Tarbiya Institute, the event was organized by the Palestine Solidarity Network to educate visitors about the history of Palestine. The display comes at a time of heightened concern over the ongoing conflict and humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
The exhibition features historical artifacts, including traditional Palestinian dresses called thobes. Among the displays, one poignant section tells the story of a 6-year-old girl killed in the recent conflict. Organizers aimed to present both the beauty and struggles of Palestinian life through art, imagery, and personal accounts.
Organizers plan to keep bringing the exhibit to different communities. The goal remains to raise awareness of the history and culture of Palestine. With continued public interest, similar events may expand in the future.
