11 Ukrainian Students & 2 Faculty Visit Braunschweig to Strengthen City Partnership
Eleven German studies students and two faculty members from the University of Bila Zerkwa, Ukraine, are visiting Braunschweig until October 5. This visit is part of a partnership of solidarity between the two cities and is intended to establish lasting connections. The students are observing at the Volkshochschule and staying with host families.
The cultural program includes a trip to Berlin to visit the Bundestag and various activities in Braunschweig and the region. This cooperation project was first realized in 2024 and is planned to continue. The visit aims to foster ties between Braunschweig and Bila Zerkwa. The students' observations at the Volkshochschule and their stay with host families are expected to enrich both parties' cultural understanding.
