14 Isle of Man eateries win 2026 Manx Menu March awards for local flavours

Fourteen local eateries have won awards in the 2026 Manx Menu March competition. The initiative, now in its sixth year, aims to boost tourism and support the Isle of Man's food and drink sector. A total of 47 businesses have taken part since 2021, with 12 previous winners.

This year's contest drew over 20 entries, with winners chosen for their creativity, use of local ingredients, and sustainable practices. The judging panel included Rob Mercer MLC, Percy Hampton, and Helen Crosbie.

The 14 winning businesses span cafés, bistros, and restaurants across the island. Among them are Babbage's Bistro, Café 360, Coast Bar & Brasserie, and The Boatyard Restaurant. Other winners include Filbey's Little Food Shack, Greens Café, Kiki Lounge, and Vibe Plant Based Café.

Each winner receives a marketing package worth up to £1,000. Their menus feature bespoke dishes, set meals, and sharing platters made with Manx-sourced produce. The contest highlights the island's diverse hospitality scene while encouraging visitors to explore local flavours.

Details on the winning entries and future initiatives are available on the Manx Menu website and Love Manx social media channels.

The 2026 awards bring the total number of winning businesses to 26 since the contest began. The scheme continues to promote local producers and extend the tourist season. Organisers hope the initiative will keep economic benefits within the Isle of Man.
