15-Year-Old Dual Citizen Arrested for Armed Robbery in Düsseldorf
A 15-year-old boy, holding dual Serbian and Montenegrin citizenship, was arrested in Düsseldorf for robbing a 21-year-old man at gunpoint. The suspect, a known offender, demanded cash and forced the victim to withdraw more money from his account.
The incident occurred on Urdenbacher Allee in Düsseldorf's Benrath district. The victim managed to escape and alerted authorities at a nearby supermarket. Investigators from Criminal Police Station 36 identified the suspect through surveillance footage. The teenager was arrested at his home, and clothing believed to have been worn during the crime was seized.
The suspect has had previous contact with police for similar offenses. Authorities are now examining if he may be linked to other threats and robberies in the days leading up to his arrest. This is not the first time the 15-year-old has been involved in a robbery; he was previously identified through video evidence for threatening a 21-year-old victim with a firearm.
