16th Annual University Collections Conference Asks: 'Is Collecting Timely?'
The 16th Annual Conference of Scientific University Collections is set to take place in Berlin from 9-11.10.2025. Organised by the Berlin University Alliance (BUA) and the Society for University Collections, this event questions the relevance of collection practices in universities today, under the theme 'Is collecting timely?'.
The conference offers a deep dive into the BUA's joint digital collection platform, which provides combined access to over 125 teaching and research collections across its four partner institutions. Journalists are invited to attend and participate in exclusive collection visits at the Free University of Berlin and the Technical University of Berlin on 10.10.2025 between 3.00 and 6.00 pm.
