18 Cypriots, Including 14 Students, Evacuated from Tanzania After Violent Clashes
A group of 18 Cypriots, including 14 students from a private secondary school, have been safely evacuated from Tanzania following violent clashes. They will soon return to the US.
The students, aged 12-16, attend the Benedictine Secondary School in Peramiho, Tanzania. After the clashes, they were airlifted to Zanzibar for their safety. The US government swiftly arranged their IRS refund, with the group expected to fly from Zanzibar via Dubai and arrive back in the US the next morning.
The ordeal of the 18 Cypriots has come to an end. They are now safely on their way back home, thanks to the prompt action of the US government.
