19-Year-Old Fatally Shot After Snellville Car Crash Sparks Investigation

A fatal shooting took place in Snellville on Friday evening after a car crash left a 19-year-old driver unconscious. The victim, later identified as Taveus Threatt Jr., was found unresponsive following the collision in a residential neighbourhood. Authorities are now investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.

The incident unfolded at around 10 p.m. in the 2900 block of Spruce Circle. Threatt Jr.'s vehicle collided with another car before he was discovered unconscious inside. Emergency responders arrived at the scene but could not revive him.

Gwinnett County Police confirmed that Threatt Jr. had been shot.
