A 100-year-old man was robbed in broad daylight in Bremen last May. Police have now identified the attacker as a 20-year-old man already serving time for another crime in the same city.
The suspect violently snatched a valuable wristwatch from the elderly victim. During the attack, the victim’s son-in-law was also assaulted. Investigators later traced the culprit using CCTV footage and a DNA match.
The case remains under investigation, with police working to recover the stolen property. The suspect will face additional charges for the robbery and assault while already serving his existing sentence.
