A 20-year-old driver was provisionally arrested after a serious accident in Berlin-Wedding on Sunday. The incident, which occurred when the driver turned right at a red light, left a 63-year-old supervisor with severe injuries and three children with minor ones. A significant amount of marijuana, around 90 grams, was found with the driver. The driver, who was later found to have a marijuana stash, hit a group of children and their supervisor. The supervisor, aged 63, suffered severe injuries and was immediately taken to the hospital. Three children, aged eight and eleven, sustained minor injuries. A blood sample was taken from the driver to test for alcohol or drug consumption. The driver's license was subsequently confiscated. Authorities have not yet released the driver's identity or further details about the incident. The accident is currently under investigation. The driver's marijuana possession and potential influence on the accident are key factors in the ongoing probe. The injured supervisor and children are receiving medical care.
