2026 Presidential Grants Fund 20,000 Social Projects Across Russia

The 2026 Presidential Grants Competition has awarded funding to thousands of social projects across Russia. Over 20,000 initiatives received support, with millions in federal grants allocated to local NGOs. Among the winners are programmes focused on education, disability support, and family welfare.

In Sverdlovsk Region alone, 34 projects secured grants in the first round of the competition. Nationwide, 9,300 public initiatives were submitted, with a portion dedicated to socially impactful causes. The total federal funding for these schemes exceeds 111.5 million rubles.

One of the standout initiatives is the 'Field of Opportunities' programme. It helps children with musculoskeletal disabilities by offering adaptive football training. Another key project, 'Birth and Adoptive Families: School of Conscious Parenting', aims to strengthen foster and biological families while reducing social orphanhood. Meanwhile, the 'Red Line' Book Festival continues to promote literacy and support Russian authors. Last year, it drew over 90,000 participants, reinforcing its role in cultural engagement. Detailed results of all winning projects, including regional breakdowns, are available on the official grants.gov.ru platform.

The 2026 grants will fund a wide range of social initiatives, from disability sports to parenting support. With over 20,000 projects approved, the funding is set to make a tangible difference in communities.
