A 21-year-old man is facing fraud charges after refusing to pay a €754 taxi fare. The incident occurred following a long trip from Munich to Upper Franconia, spanning 270 kilometres. The journey began in Munich, with the passenger travelling all the way to Upper Franconia. Upon arrival, he fled the scene without settling the fare. Police later tracked him down at his parents’ home. When officers found him, the man had no money on him. He was also under the influence of drugs at the time of the arrest. The case has now led to formal fraud charges against the 21-year-old. Authorities confirmed his identity but did not release his name. The investigation remains ongoing.
