3 Arrested in Texas for Alleged Kidnapping, Sex Trafficking
Three individuals, Esmeralda Peña, Herbinique Forest, and Nickson Simmons, are currently behind bars in Harris County Jail, each facing charges of aggravated kidnapping. The arrest follows a harrowing incident where a man was held captive, forced into prostitution, and subjected to physical abuse and drug use for nearly a week.
The victim's ordeal began when he accepted a job offer from Esmeralda Peña, a friend, who took him to a Regency Inn. There, he met Herbinique Forest, known as 'Cookie', who promptly signed him up for an escort website. For six days, the victim was beaten, drugged, and forced to solicit men in a Ross parking lot, engaging in sexual acts with only one individual. Forest managed the victim's activities and assaulted him when he refused to comply.
After six days, the victim managed to escape, only to be forced back into the car at gunpoint by Nickson Simmons. The victim later texted his aunt for help, who subsequently rescued him from the Ross parking lot. The criminal investigation into this case is ongoing.
The suspects, Esmeralda Peña, Herbinique Forest, and Nickson Simmons, remain in custody, awaiting trial for their alleged roles in the kidnapping and sex trafficking of the victim. The victim's bravery in escaping and seeking help has led to the arrest of the three suspects, bringing some justice to this distressing case.
