46 Young Russians Receive First Passports in Constitution Day Ceremony
A special ceremony took place in Nizhny Novgorod on December 12, marking Constitution Day in Russia. At the Legislative Assembly, 46 young activists received their first Russian passports as part of a nationwide initiative.
The event was organised under the programme We Are Citizens of Russia!, which has supported over 9,000 young residents in obtaining their identity documents since 2023. This year’s ceremony honoured members of the All-Russian Children and Youth Movement Movement of the First.
The ceremony reinforced the region’s commitment to youth engagement and civic identity. Since its launch last year, the We Are Citizens of Russia! programme has continued to expand, helping thousands of young people secure their official documents.
