The accident happened around 9 p.m. as the driver, a 70-year-old woman, was traveling along Messedamm towards the A100 highway. Suddenly, a 21-year-old pedestrian stepped off a median strip into the road, causing the collision. The pedestrian suffered head injuries and was promptly taken to a hospital for treatment.
