82-Year-Old Driver Involved in Steglitz Accident, Both Injured
An 82-year-old man was involved in a traffic accident in Steglitz this morning, with the incident occurring around 9:45 a.m. on Düppelstraße near Dünther Straße. The older driver, whose name has not been released, attempted to turn left into Dünther Straße, leading to a collision with a 76-year-old scooter rider. Both men were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.
The traffic accident investigation unit of Police Directorate 4 (South) is currently handling the case. The scooter rider suffered injuries to his leg and torso in the accident. Despite the severity of his injuries, both men are expected to recover. The cause of the accident is still under investigation, with police appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
