82-Year-Old Pedestrian Struck by Bus in Halensee, Hospitalized
An 82-year-old pedestrian was struck by a bus on the Kurfürstendamm in Halensee yesterday afternoon, around 16:40. Emergency services rushed to the scene following the collision.
The pedestrian, who suffered head injuries and a broken ankle, was promptly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The investigation into the incident is currently underway, handled by a specialized traffic crime unit of the police directorate 2 (West).
The local police department, under the umbrella of the Polizeidirektion 2, is responsible for such investigations in the Halensee region. Updates on the pedestrian's condition and the investigation's progress are yet to be released.
