87-Year-Old Wheelchair User Struck by Car in Berlin’s Märkisches Viertel

An 87-year-old man in a wheelchair was injured after being struck by a car on Senftenberger Ring near Wilhelmsruher Damm. The incident, recorded as No. 2406, involved a 62-year-old man driving an Opel. He collided with the wheelchair user who had entered the road from behind a parked car. The 87-year-old sustained a suspected broken leg and was taken to a hospital for treatment. Police Directorate 1 (North) is leading the investigation into the accident.
