A new patron for the humanitarian aid GL
Humanitarian Aid Bergisch Gladbach e.V. has named Martin Lucke as its new patron. The state parliament member takes over from Dr. Hermann-Josef Tebroke, who held the position for nine years. The association continues its work supporting Ukraine with food, medicine, and essential supplies.
The appointment was announced during the association’s presentation at Bergisch Gladbach’s Christmas market. Current patrons Frank Stein and Dr. Michael Metten welcomed Lucke, while chair Ulrich Gürster called him the ideal choice for the role.
Lucke has long supported the group’s events and now encourages locals to get involved. Donations can be sent to the shared relief account at Pax Bank Cologne, referencing 'Ukraine Aid' with IBAN DE93 3706 0193 0032 5620 27.
The organisation remains focused on easing hardship in Ukraine by funding critical supplies. Lucke’s leadership aims to strengthen these efforts in the months ahead.
With Lucke as patron, the association will keep raising funds for Ukraine’s urgent needs. Citizens can contribute through donations or by joining the group’s activities. The work builds on years of aid, now guided by a familiar advocate for the cause.
