A new village school opens in Zasopka with strong local backing

A new school in Zasopka, a village with personal significance to its founder, opened its doors to students on September 1. The school, a result of a concession-based project, has received backing from local figures including Andrei Kefer, former First Deputy Prime Minister, and Anton Tutov, Director General of the Territorial Development Agency.

Aladdin Mamedov, a native of Zasopka and founder of DVM-Chita, announced the completion of the school. The three-story building spans over 16,000 square meters and can accommodate 520 students. It boasts 46 classrooms and an assembly hall seating 353 people. Currently, the school enrolls 241 elementary students, 250 middle schoolers, and 29 high schoolers.

The school's curriculum includes crafting nets and making candles for soldiers involved in the special military operation. In addition to regular classes, the institution hosts public events like the recent 'Harvest Gifts' fair.

The school in Zasopka stands as a testament to Mamedov's dedication to his hometown. With the support of local officials and the community, the school is set to provide quality education to the village's youth.
