ADB Unveils 2025-2029 Azerbaijan Strategy: Green Transition and Growth
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is set to unveil its strategic plan for Azerbaijan's development from 2025 to 2029. This new Country Partnership Strategy (CPS) will guide future investments and reforms in the country, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and green transition.
Sunniya Durrani-Jamal, the ADB's Country Director in Azerbaijan, discussed the upcoming strategy with Guy Shone in a recent interview for World Business Special. The new CPS will prioritise key areas such as renewable energy, sustainable transport, and digital infrastructure. These focus areas aim to support Azerbaijan's shift towards a greener economy.
