Adel hires Tim Vick as new city manager, leaving Manchester in transition
Tim Vick has been appointed as the new city manager for Adel, Iowa. His departure from Manchester marks the end of his current news role, with his final day set for January 9th. The town of Manchester is now preparing to find his replacement. The Manchester City Council officially accepted Vick’s resignation. To assist in the search for a new city manager, they have hired Theia Management Consulting. The firm brings 101 years of combined experience in Iowa local government and has completed over 35 city administrator news searches since 2013. The consulting contract, including expenses, will not exceed $18,850. Manchester aims to select a new city manager by early March, with the chosen candidate expected to start by the end of April. As of now, no official announcement has been made regarding who will fill the position. Vick’s move to Adel leaves Manchester in need of new leadership. The council’s partnership with Theia Management Consulting ensures a structured news search process. The selected candidate will take office by late April, following a recruitment period set to conclude in early March.
