These are the top employers in Germany for women - Adient Crowned Germany's Top Employer for Women in 2023 Survey
Adient, a global car seat manufacturer, has been named Germany's best employer for women in 2023. The ranking comes from a large-scale survey conducted by Statista, an independent research firm. Over 20,000 employees took part, with nearly 11,000 responses from women alone.
The survey assessed companies based on factors women value most in an employer, such as job security, short commutes, and the chance to use their skills. No company could apply for inclusion or influence the results, ensuring fairness.
Adient, which employs more than 80,000 people worldwide and trades on the New York Stock Exchange, claimed the top spot. Pluss, a staffing agency specialising in temporary work, came in second. Its focus on workplace health, career growth, and work-life balance earned it high marks.
Industries like insurance, pharmaceuticals, and IT services performed well in the rankings. Lifestyle brands and food companies also scored highly among female employees. Meanwhile, automotive suppliers, including Adient's sector, ranked lower overall. Possible reasons include job cuts or broader industry struggles.
Awarded companies can buy a seal to use in their external communications, highlighting their recognition.
The results reflect what women prioritise when choosing an employer. Adient's first-place finish highlights its appeal in job security and skill utilisation. The survey also shows which sectors are most favoured—and which face challenges in attracting female talent.
