These include more stringent production and operations controls, detailed risk identification and assessment, the appointment of a dedicated Quality Management System (QMS) management representative, expanded employee involvement and responsibilities in total quality management, closer control and approval of external providers and suppliers, specific requirements for design, development testing, validation, and configuration management, and enhanced processes for nonconformance management and corrective actions.
