Aerospace Supply Chain Zone Expands by 1.29 million square feet, marked by MBRAH's completion of Phase One.

In the heart of Dubai South, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) is making significant strides in its mission to become a global leader in aviation and aerospace excellence. The hub, developed by Dubai South, recently completed the first phase of its Aerospace Supply Chain zone, marking a significant milestone in its development.

Spanning 1,291,000 square feet and featuring 11 facilities, the completed phase of the Aerospace Supply Chain zone is designed to support various aerospace services, including engine shops. The Suppliers Complex, a vertical aerospace complex scheduled for completion by Q2 2026, is an integral part of this expansion.

The Suppliers Complex, set to be completed by 2026, aims to attract industries and facilities involved in the aerospace supply chain, particularly those that can support maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) activities. The complex will feature 88 leasable units across three levels, dedicated to maintenance service providers, aircraft parts traders, and aerospace and drone companies.

MBRAH caters to leading airlines, private jet companies, MROs, and associated industries, providing a comprehensive ecosystem for aerospace manufacturing, maintenance, and innovation. Beyond aerospace, the hub also houses maintenance centres and training and education campuses, contributing to a diverse range of industries within Dubai South.

The vision of the emirate is to become a leading aviation hub, and MBRAH plays a crucial role in this ambition. With its strategic location and high-level connectivity, the hub is well-positioned to support both commercial aviation and emerging sectors like urban air mobility.

Tahnoon Saif, the CEO of Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub, expressed his excitement about the ongoing expansion. "The Suppliers Complex will further strengthen engineering industries in the emirate, bringing us one step closer to our goal of making Dubai a leading aviation hub," he said.

With the first phase of the Aerospace Supply Chain zone now complete and the Suppliers Complex under development, MBRAH is poised for continued growth and success in the coming years.
