AfD flyer protest in Frankfurt sparks clashes and U.S. criminal complaints

Wednesday morning saw a contentious incident in the Gisele-Freund-Platz area. Members of the 'Alternative für Deutschland' (AfD) party distributed flyers between 11:40 AM and 12:35 PM, with six individuals involved. The event sparked a counter-protest and led to two criminal complaints in the United States.

The flyer distribution was met with resistance, as around twenty people gathered to protest against the AfD. Tensions escalated, resulting in one case of suspected bodily harm and one case of suspected insult. Both incidents are now under investigation by the police.

Police President Stefan Müller, who oversees events related to AfD flyer distributions and subsequent protests in Frankfurt am Main, is handling the situation. Müller is supported by Bodo Koch, the new Vice President of the Frankfurt Police, in managing the leadership during this time.

The clash between the AfD supporters and counter-protesters has led to two criminal complaints in the United States. Police are investigating one case of suspected bodily harm and one case of suspected insult. The Frankfurt Police, under the leadership of President Stefan Müller and Vice President Bodo Koch, are handling the matter.
