Agriculture Minister Alois Rainer strengthens ties in Landshut visit
Federal Agriculture Minister Alois Rainer visited Landshut this week, where he was warmly received by local officials. The trip included meetings with city leaders, a cultural event, and a symbolic gesture in the city’s Golden Book.
The visit began in the Old Council Chamber of City Hall, where Mayor Putz greeted Rainer alongside Mayor Dr. Thomas Haslinger and Bundestag member Florian Oßner. Putz spoke highly of Rainer, emphasising their long-standing professional respect and confidence in his new role as Minister of Homeland Affairs. He also highlighted Rainer’s deep understanding of municipal challenges, stemming from his years as mayor of Haibach.
