In a chilling repeat, an Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner fleet, identical to the one involved in the fatal crash that killed 241 souls merely days ago, made a hasty U-turn after takeoff.

The turbulent Tuesday saw flight AI315 touch back to its origin, Hong Kong, as a cautionary move due to a techie snafu. The air carrier spilled the beans to Reuters, confirming the predicament was a "technical issue." The flight had ambitious plans to soar to New Delhi, but it gracefully descended and underwent checks as a "matter of abundant precaution."

The rollercoaster ride commenced around 12:20 p.m., as the flight reached a lofty 22,000 feet before initiating descent[1]. The seven-year-old birdie, they say, is a peach[2].

One of the pilots verbalized their predicament 15 minutes post-takeoff to air traffic controllers, "For technical reasons, mate, we fancy keeping close to Hong Kong, might come back and touch down again if we sort things out here." The plane never continued on its merry way, but instead chose to return[4].

SOUTHWEST SOARS WITH POWERFUL COCKPIT ALERT SYSTEM TO EVADE RUNWAY DANGER

On a lighter note, Southwest Airlines recently pimped up their cockpit with a clever alert system aimed at thwarting runway collisions.

"We don't roll onto the runway," the pilot reportedly declared, before taking the circle exit back to HKIA[4].

Air India's Chairman, N. Chandrasekaran, on Tuesday sounded the battle cry, pleading with crew members to remain steadfast through the criticism, emphasizing the need to construct a safer airline following last week's catastrophe[6].

A DIRE DIVE OF DESTINY: PLANE CARRYING 200+ CRASHES SHORTLY AFTER TAKEOFF

Last Thursday, a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, eerily similar to the one making headlines now, plummeted to the ground in a horrific crash shortly after departing from the Indian metropolis of Ahmedabad[7]. The plane was en route to London Gatwick Airport.

The lone survivor of the bloodbath, Viswashkumar Ramesh, referred to his survival as a divine miracle, while speaking to DD India[8]. "I can't wrap my head around it," he said. "When I regained consciousness, there were dead bodies all around me. I was petrified." Ramesh spoke candidly with the Hindustan Times about the scene[9].

Ramesh reportedly recounted witnessing numerous fatalities[8].

In a solemn statement, Air India mourned the loss of 241 passengers and crew members aboard flight AI171. "Air India is in a state of mourning following the tragic loss of 241 passengers and crew members aboard flight AI171," the airline lamented on their social media[10].

Fox News Digital's Alex Nitzberg and Reuters crunched the numbers for this report.
