Cebu Pacific Extends Partnership with Airinmar for Multi-Year Term

Cebu Pacific, one of Asia's fastest-growing low-cost carriers, has extended its support services agreement with AAR Corp's subsidiary Airinmar for a multi-year term. The partnership, which began in 2022, aims to continue providing value to Cebu Pacific through Airinmar's value engineering and warranty management services.

Airinmar specializes in component repair cycle management and warranty solutions. Their role is to maximize the recovery of warranty entitlements, reduce component repair expenses, and help lower overall maintenance costs for Cebu Pacific. These services aim to complement Cebu Pacific's materials management activities, supporting effective management of maintenance spend as the airline expands its fleet.

Shevantha Weerasekera, vice president for engineering and fleet maintenance at Cebu Pacific, stated that Airinmar's services have been instrumental in managing maintenance spend as the airline expanded its fleet. The agreement includes aircraft warranty management and value engineering services, and Airinmar takes pride in supporting Cebu Pacific's ongoing growth.

Matt Davies, the General Manager of Airinmar, expressed his delight at the extended partnership. He emphasized that Airinmar's ability to customize its solutions to Cebu Pacific's business needs enables the airline to continuously pursue new ideas and better solutions.

Cebu Pacific's fleet has grown to include 100 aircraft, with an additional 100+ aircraft on order. The services provided by Airinmar are expected to play a significant role in managing the increased maintenance costs that come with fleet expansion.

The agreement was announced during the Aviation Week MRO Asia-Pacific 2025 event in Singapore. Airinmar's continued support is a testament to the successful partnership between the two companies and their shared commitment to cost-effective and efficient maintenance solutions.

As Cebu Pacific continues to grow, the partnership with Airinmar is expected to be a valuable asset, helping the airline to maintain its competitive edge in the low-cost carrier market.
