Aktobe’s new ‘Family Alley’ park transforms urban leisure with private funding
Aktobe has seen over 15 public spaces transformed in the last year, thanks to private funding. Local entrepreneurs have supported projects ranging from parks to recreational zones. One of the latest additions is the 'Family Alley', a 3,000-square-metre park designed for community use. The 'Family Alley' was fully financed by entrepreneur Zulkozha Kozhaev. This new park features paved walkways, parking spaces, benches, and modern lighting. A built-in watering system keeps the green areas maintained, while the 'Otbasy' architectural piece stands as its focal point. The wave of renovations has reshaped Aktobe’s public spaces in just 12 months. With private funding driving the changes, the city now boasts more parks, alleys, and leisure areas. Next year’s projects will build on this momentum, focusing on key locations like Retro Park and the bus station.
