Alexandria City Council Kicks Off FY2027 Budget Process at Nov. 1 Retreat
Alexandria City Council will hold an annual budget retreat on Saturday, November 1, 2023, in the West End. The event, to be held at the Del Pepper Community Resource Center from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., will include presentations from city staff and other departments, including Alexandria City Public Schools.
The retreat will kick off the Fiscal Year 2027 budget process. Attendees can expect a presentation from city staff on the revenue forecast, expenditure overview, and preliminary budget gap. The retreat will also provide an opportunity for city departments to present their budget needs and priorities.
