All Saints’ Day on November 1 in Rhineland-Palatinate brings changes to public entertainment, shopping, and pharmacy services. The day, dedicated to honouring the deceased, is a 'quiet holiday' with restrictions in place.

Public entertainment events are only allowed if they align with the solemn nature of the day. Dance events are banned starting from 4 a.m., but sports competitions are exempt and can resume at 11 a.m.

Most shops, including supermarkets and target stores, will be closed. However, Rewe To Go convenience stores will remain open for urgent errands. Gas stations, shops at train stations, and Frankfurt-Hahn Airport shops can stay open all day. Bakeries, pastry shops, and florists may open for up to five hours on this day.

Pharmacies will be closed, but an emergency service will be available for accessing medications. Notices at closed pharmacies will indicate which locations are open and their hours.
