Allach-Untermenzing Residents Vote on Mobility Improvements
Residents of Allach-Untermenzing have proposed improvements to public transit and cycling infrastructure as part of a mobility concept development. Voting is open on the city's website and at Oertelplatz on October 21.
The mobility concept focuses on walking, cycling, and public transit. Residents have suggested an express bus to Pasing and improved public transit. They have also proposed more bike lanes and car-sharing offers, including bike paths on Goteboldstraße. The city's mobility department (MOR) has developed these suggestions based on a status analysis and citizen survey. Residents can now rank these proposals in the third phase of the project. The final mobility concept will include an implementation strategy, with the city council deciding on the recommendations for action.
The city of Munich is actively involving residents in the development of the Allach-Untermenzing mobility concept. After the ranking phase, the final concept will be presented to the city council for decision-making. The goal is to improve mobility and quality of life in the district.
