Allendorf's Future Heat Supply: Info Evening on Nov 19

The city of Gießen and Allendorf Local Council are hosting an important information evening on the future of heat supply in Allendorf. The event, scheduled for November 19, 2025, at 7:00 PM, aims to discuss various heat supply options, including a potential district heating network in a designated 'pilot area'.

The 'pilot area' covers a section around Hüttenbergstraße, Hintergasse, and the lower part of Untergasse. The event will also delve into individual solutions, such as the use of heat pumps. While the identity of the person who developed the 'heat planning' for the Allendorf district is not publicly disclosed, the meeting follows the city’s adoption of the Municipal Heat Planning Strategy.
