Altai Krai Backs Expectant Mothers With Remote Work and Financial Aid
Altai Krai Governor Viktor Tomenko introduced a new initiative in January 2025. The measure supports expectant mothers by offering remote work options and financial aid.
The scheme, benefiting 414 female students, provides one-time payments for early pregnancy registration. The total disbursement amounts to 41.4 million rubles. Applications can be submitted at Altai Krai Multifunctional Centers (MFCs) or the regional Social Protection Agency.
The initiative aims to ease the burden on young mothers, allowing them to continue their education and prepare for parenthood. It is part of the region's efforts to improve maternal health and support families.
