Amanat Party Marks Abai's 180th Birthday With 'Altyn Dombyra' Aitys
This year's 'Altyn dombyra' aitys, themed 'Adamzattyn bärin süĭ!', celebrated the 180th anniversary of Abai Kunanbayev's birth. The event, organized by the Amanat party with the Ministry of Culture and Information's support, took place at the Rahmadiyev state academic philharmonic, anticipating Republic Day.
Aibek Sydykov, representing Minister Aida Balayeva, greeted participants, stressing the importance of preserving national art. The aitys was moderated by Amanjol Altay, a deputy of the Majilis and Amanat party member. Fourteen top akyns from Kazakhstan competed, with Aibek Kaliyev from Kostanai region winning the grand prize: an 'Altyn dombyra' and an apartment. Bekzultan Orinbasarov from Kyzylorda region secured first place and a car.
Daulet Karibek, Amanat party's executive secretary, highlighted the significance of Republic Day and the Head of State's focus on spiritual and cultural development. The party consistently supports literature, cultural growth, and national art, including aitys.
