An Annual Report and Election Conference of the Trade Union was held at JSC «AK «Yakutia»
The Annual Report and Election Conference of the Trade Union of JSC «AK «Yakutia» took place on December 19, 2025, in Aldan. Delegates gathered to review achievements, elect new leadership, and discuss the company’s future.
The event covered worker-union collaboration, employee well-being, and support for colleagues involved in the special military operation. A tea gathering with pies later allowed attendees to discuss holiday plans and ongoing challenges.
Natalya Yegorovna Onofriichuk opened the conference with her report, having led the union since 2013. Delegates then unanimously re-elected her for another five-year term as chair. The union’s membership has grown significantly, rising from 723 in 2021 to 1,080 in 2025—now representing nearly two-thirds of the workforce.
Vladimir Petrovich Miroshnichenko, the company’s deputy director for personnel and social issues, presented key economic figures and reviewed freight and passenger traffic performance. Vadim Mazurok, a member of the State Assembly of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia), praised the railway team’s contributions to regional development and the union’s role in fostering a positive work environment. The conference approved a new union committee and honoured its most active members with awards. Over the years, the union has secured social and economic protections for workers, offered benefits, attracted young talent, and promoted healthy lifestyles.
The event concluded with a tea gathering, where attendees shared pies and discussed holiday activities alongside operational challenges. The union’s expanded membership and renewed leadership signal continued focus on worker welfare and company growth. Approved plans will guide its work for the next five years.
