Anapa Honors Long-Married Couples with New ‘Strong Family’ Medal
Anapa has introduced a new honour for long-standing families in the city. The 'Strong Family' medal will recognise couples who meet strict criteria, including a 20-year marriage and raising five or more children. The first recipients will be named later this year.
The award was officially created on December 10 during the 5th session of the Anapa City Resort Council. To qualify, families must have lived in Anapa for at least five consecutive years. They must also have been legally married for two decades or more.
The medal highlights Anapa’s commitment to recognising large, stable families. Eligible couples will be honoured at a public event in September. Officials have not yet revealed how many families will receive the award this year.
