Anapa's Children's Art School Reopens After Major Renovation Under National Project
Anapa Children’s Art School has reopened after a major renovation funded by the national project Family. The upgraded facility now includes modern equipment, specialised tools and new furniture. Officials, including Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova, attended the ceremony via video link to mark the occasion.
The renovation received over 29.9 million rubles in government funding. This investment allowed the school to expand its capacity and improve its learning environment. A dedicated relaxation area for children was also added.
The school, led by director Elena Viktorovna Kuznetsova, now offers 13 general education programs. It will also increase student enrollment by 50 and introduce new courses for adults. Over the past five years, its students have earned 15 awards from the Anapa city administration for cultural achievements. The project is part of a broader initiative under the *Family* programme. In the Krasnodar Region alone, 63 cultural institutions have been renovated, while 145 others received modern upgrades. Deputy Governor Alexander Rudenko thanked the federal government for its support in developing children’s creativity and the region’s cultural sector.
The reopened school now provides better resources for students and the wider community. With expanded programs and improved facilities, it aims to build on its record of artistic success. The renovation aligns with ongoing efforts to modernise cultural institutions across the Krasnodar Region.
