Annual Deanery Assembly of ambassadors strengthens diplomatic ties
The Annual Deanery Assembly of Ambassadors and Heads of Diplomatic Missions in Kuwait took place with over 130 missions in attendance. Held under the patronage of H.E. Zubaydzoda Zubaydullo, Ambassador of Tajikistan and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, the event celebrated diplomatic cooperation and achievements from the past year. A formal banquet followed the proceedings, marking the occasion with recognition and camaraderie.
The assembly began with a review of the Deanery’s activities throughout 2025. Key highlights included its engagement with international organisations, government bodies, and public institutions. The gathering also served as a platform to foster dialogue, mutual understanding, and cultural exchange among the diplomatic community.
Appreciation gifts were awarded to active members of the Diplomatic Corps for their contributions. H.E. Abdulmohsen Al-Zaid, Kuwait’s Assistant Foreign Minister for Protocol Affairs, received a commemorative gift in gratitude for his ongoing support. The event also featured group photographs, with ambassadors appointed in 2025 posing separately for a special commemorative shot. In his closing remarks, Ambassador Zubaydullo extended his best wishes to all attendees for continued success in 2026. His address reinforced the assembly’s role in strengthening friendly relations and cooperation between missions.
The assembly concluded with a formal banquet honouring the participants. The event underscored the importance of collaboration among diplomatic missions in Kuwait. Recognition of individual contributions and the exchange of gifts highlighted the spirit of partnership that defined the gathering.
