Applications are now open for the 2026 NRA Youth Education Summit (Y.E.S.), a prestigious six-day program for rising high school juniors and seniors. This all-expenses-paid event, to be held in Washington, D.C. from July 21-26, 2026, aims to inspire young minds to engage with American government and the U.S. Constitution.

The summit is open to current high school sophomores and juniors nationwide. Participants can expect to meet with political leaders, tour historic landmarks, and compete for college scholarships. The program also includes marksmanship practice, museum tours, debates, and visits to historical sites. Applicants must submit a high school transcript, a three-page essay on the Second Amendment, a personal statement, three letters of recommendation, and participate in a short phone interview by the deadline of January 18, 2026.

The mission of Y.E.S. is to encourage students to return as active citizens and advocates for the Second Amendment. Despite the absence of specific information about NRA leaders participating, the program promises to be an enriching experience. For details and to apply, visit the Y.E.S. website or contact [email protected].
