Arab Hope Makers 2025 Launches to Celebrate Humanitarian Heroes Across the Region
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has launched the sixth edition of the Arab Hope Makers initiative, aiming to promote generosity, optimism, and unity in the region. The initiative, part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), honours individuals and organisations dedicated to humanitarian and community service in the Arab world.
Last year's winner, Moroccan volunteer Ahmed Zainoun, was honoured for supporting children suffering from Xeroderma Pigmentosum. The top Hope Maker received a prize of AED1 million, with the top three finalists sharing a total prize value of AED3 million. The initiative has drawn more than 320,000 nominations since its launch in 2017, highlighting its impact and popularity.
Sheikh Mohammed, who believes 'creating hope is the highest and most noble achievement', has opened nominations for this year's edition. The initiative can be supported at arabhopemakers.com.
The Arab Hope Makers initiative continues to inspire and recognise those making a difference in the Arab world. With generous prizes and widespread reach, it encourages further acts of kindness and unity, reflecting Sheikh Mohammed's vision for the region.
