A discount supermarket on Oberrather Straße in Düsseldorf was robbed at gunpoint on an unspecified date. The suspect, an unknown man, threatened staff before fleeing with cash. Police have now launched an appeal for witnesses to help identify the culprit.

The robbery took place when the armed man entered the store and demanded money from the till. He placed the stolen cash into a black bag while holding a firearm. Staff described him as between 25 and 35 years old, around 1.80 metres tall, with blue eyes and a German accent.

The suspect wore a black The North Face jacket with the hood up, dark jeans, and black shoes featuring white stripes and soles. He also covered his face with a black mask and wore black gloves. After taking the money, he ran toward the nearby S-Bahn station and boarded a train. Despite immediate search efforts, police have not yet located the suspect.
