Arrested individual charged for alleged act of terrorism involving homemade fire-projectile device in Boulder.

In the heart of Boulder, Colorado, chaos erupted on a sunny Sunday afternoon when a man, later identified as Mohamed Sabry Soliman, allegedly unleashed a wave of terror against a crowd of pro-Israel demonstrators. Soliman, a 45-year-old Egyptian national, reportedly wielded a makeshift flamethrower and lobbed incendiary devices at the unsuspecting gathering.

The ensuing violence left eight innocent souls in agony. Ranging in age from 52 to 88, these victims were rushed to local hospitals, with one critically injured. The devastating impact didn't stop there; others were left with minor burns, although the severity of their injuries pales in comparison to the terror they experienced.

As the smoke cleared, authorities swooped in, swiftly apprehending Soliman without incident. He was soon transferred to a medical facility for examination before being remanded in custody. Soliman faces a whopping $10,000,000 bond, with a host of felony charges levied against him, including the use of incendiary devices and potentially attempted first-degree murder, though this remains unclear.

This appalling incident has been labeled a "targeted terror attack" by FBI Director Kash Patel, who believes it is an instance of ideologically motivated violence. Such terror isn't an isolated event; it's part of a chilling escalation of violence targeting Jews and their supporters, as expressed by Leo Terrell, head of the Justice Department's antisemitism task force.

The attack occured on the eve of the Jewish holiday, Shavuot, making the experience all the more harrowing. The pro-Israel demonstration was a Run for Their Lives walk, an initiative aimed at raising awareness about the remaining hostages in Gaza. The organization has canceled all upcoming events following this heinous act of terror.

President Donald Trump, not one to shy away from a crisis, has been briefed on the situation, and Colorado Governor Jared Polis has condemned the attack as a "heinous act of terror." However, initial responses from Boulder Police were more cautious, choosing not to label the incident as terrorism while promising a thorough investigation.

The attack occurred at around 1:30 PM on Sunday at the intersection of 13th Street and Pearl Street. Police arrived to find several victims suffering from burn injuries. As the investigation continues, details of the attack and the motivations behind it are slowly emerging, painting a grim picture of extremism and violence on American soil.
