Arson attack on German home leaves police searching for suspects
A terraced house on Teichstraße in Bad Münstereifel was targeted in a suspected arson attack on Wednesday, November 5. Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., unknown assailants threw a flare into the property, causing damage and sparking a police investigation.
The resident of the house was fortunately not present at the time of the incident. The flare damaged a chair and a mirror inside the house. Police were called and found the burnt-out flare at the scene. They have launched a probe into the deliberate creation of a fire hazard. Witnesses with any information about the incident or potential suspects are urged to contact Euskirchen Police.
The motive behind the attack remains unknown. Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is encouraged to come forward. The incident serves as a reminder of the serious dangers posed by fire-related crimes.
