A shed fire in Wernigerode's allotment complex is now under police investigation. Authorities have not ruled out arson as the cause. The blaze follows a string of similar incidents in the area over the past year.

Over the past twelve months, police records show three additional cases of suspected arson or theft in garden sheds across Wernigerode. Several break-ins in nearby sheds have also been reported recently.

Investigators are now examining whether the incidents are connected. The local police force for Harz district has confirmed ongoing inquiries into the matter.
