Arunachal Pradesh Governor Unveils Bold Development Roadmap for 2047 Vision
Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen (Retd) K T Parnaik has set out a new development roadmap for the state. The plan focuses on key sectors like education, health, hydropower, and tourism. His recent high-level meetings have reinforced this vision for growth and stability.
On December 28, 2025, Governor Parnaik met with India’s Vice President, the Chief of Defence Staff, and the Security Committee at Lok Bhavan. These discussions covered security and strategic priorities for the region. He later briefed Chief Minister Pema Khandu on the outcomes of these engagements.
The governor’s roadmap aligns with the national vision of Viksit Bharat@2047. Youth development and capacity building were highlighted as critical areas for investment. Both Parnaik and Khandu reaffirmed their commitment to working together for the state’s peace, progress, and the welfare of its people.
The new roadmap aims to strengthen Arunachal Pradesh’s infrastructure and social sectors. Education, health, and hydropower projects will receive focused attention. The governor’s plan also supports broader national development goals for the coming decades.
