ASEAN delegation strengthens strategic ties with Madhya Pradesh leadership
An eight-member delegation from ASEAN met Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Tuesday. The talks took place at Samatva Bhawan in Bhopal, where both sides discussed deeper cooperation. Yadav highlighted the long-standing ties between India and ASEAN, calling the bloc a key strategic and cultural ally.
The visiting group included officials from Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia, Timor-Leste, Thailand, Indonesia, and Brunei. They engaged in discussions with Yadav on ways to expand collaboration across different sectors.
The visit reinforced ties between Madhya Pradesh and ASEAN member states. Both sides explored opportunities for future partnerships in trade, culture, and diplomacy. The meeting marked another step in India’s ongoing engagement with the regional bloc.
