Assam Honors Bhupen Hazarika, MP Leads Unity March for National Unity
Assam is commemorating the birth centenary of legendary musician Bhupen Hazarika with a yearlong celebration. The state will observe his death anniversary on November 5 at the Hojai Stadium. Meanwhile, Kaziranga MP Kamakhya Prasad Tasa has planned a main event in Hojai town on November 6 to promote national unity and self-reliance.
The main event, scheduled for November 6, aims to honor Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and instill the ideals of 'Ek Bharat' and 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' among the youth. The event is organized by Kaziranga MP Kamakhya Prasad Tasa, who believes it will foster unity, patriotism, and a sense of duty.
The following day, on November 5, the Hojai district administration will hold a memorial event for Bharat Ratna Bhupen Hazarika at the Hojai Stadium. This event is part of the ongoing yearlong celebration of Hazarika's birth centenary in Assam.
