Assam Rifles Strengthens Unity and Strategy at 2025 IG Conference in Shillong

The Assam Rifles Inspector General's Conference 2025 took place in Shillong over two days, November 3 and 4. Chaired by Lieutenant General Vikas Lakhera, Director General of Assam Rifles, the event saw the participation of Formation Commanders, Battalion Commanders, and Staff Officers from DGAR headquarters and various formations.

Lieutenant General Vikas Lakhera led the conference, acknowledging the professionalism and dedication of the Force's personnel. The gathering provided an opportunity for commanders and staff to discuss and plan strategies for the coming year. The conference also recognised the challenges faced by the Force and how they were overcome, highlighting the resilience and adaptability of the Assam Rifles.
